What is Oeko-Tex and Gots ?

Considering we would like to leave our little ones with a cleaner planet, Milk Away is committed to a sustainable and responsible approach by using certified textiles GOTS(Global Organic Textile Standard), the main standard for organic fabrics in the world.

The entire production chain must meet very high standards. The GOTS agricultural standards for the cultivation of cotton are strict: no chemicals, no GMOs, which results in pure soil, reduced impact on the air, low water and energy consumption, but also protection for the farmers who do not handle any chemical substances. They are also granted protection and fair remuneration, according to the social criteria of the ILO (International Labour Organisation).

We hope you're still with us? Because there's more to come! In addition to GOTS, we have also opted for the Oeko-Tex standard.

Oeko-Tex is another international label that guarantees a textile without pesticides or heavy metals such as lead or cadmium. It controls production and provides "Made in green" certification and ensures traceability of the fabric, absence of toxic product and compliance with working conditions by producers.

Reducing our ecological footprint is a matter of course. That's why we think about sustainable solutions right down to the smallest detail! For our packaging, we propose two solutions depending on the size of the packages/how much overboard you've gone. In both cases, we make sure we don't pollute. Our shipping bag en plant based plastics is certified "OK Compost!", fully biodegradable and compostable. And for large orders, a shipping box composed of at least 90% of  recycled and completely recyclable materials. You have no excuse to not order for the whole family!
